Since 1st October 2010 amendments to the UK Building Regulations have been in force. This includes a new addition to part J covering combustion appliances, whereby it is now required to fit a carbon monoxide alarm .compliant with BS-EN 50291,in the room whre the solid fuel appliance is located.
